Our medical process

Many people do not actually need to go through all of our medical process so we ask some simple questions first to find out if you need to. If you need to, it's not too difficult we have a search function allowing you to find your conditions.

After finding your condition you then answer some questions about it. We will take care of the rest and ensure you get coverage for that condition, if for some reason we cannot cover a condition we will alert you to this.

Multiple conditions are just as easy. Once you have finished one, simply search for another and answer the questions relevant to that. This can be done with as many conditions as you have. When you are done you will get your quote.

Why do I need Medical Travel Insurance?

Should I get an annual or single trip?

If you are planning to take more than one holiday in a year, an annual travel insurance policy could work out cheaper. Single trip travel insurance will cover you for the exact duration of your holiday.

Can you cover winter sports and activities?

We can indeed cover your winter sport activities, such as skiing and snowboarding, however if you have medical conditions please be sure to use our system to notify us as you will not be covered if you fail to disclose a condition that may be relevant.

Is our medical travel insurance a specialist cover?

This is not specialist cover, you will be covered for cancellation, baggage cover, travel disruption and much, much more as per the standard travel insurance policies offer. Medical can be included within these options sometimes without any additional premium (depending on the condition) regardless of whether its for the policy holder or any additional family members.

What is a pre-existing medical condition?

A pre-existing medical condition is any illness, disability or injury for which you have received either medication, treatment, medical advice or symptoms before you purchase your travel insurance cover. These will need be declared during the medical screening process either online or via our UK based call centre, more detailed questions maybe asked on individual conditions which need answering before a quote can be provided.

Does your travel insurance include cover for Covid-19?

We can confirm all of our policies now provide Covid cover for Medical and other Expenses outside of the United Kingdom if you contract Coronavirus (COVID-19) whilst abroad. Some of our policies now also offer other additional Coronavirus (COVID-19) benefits.
