Cover if you're on a waiting list
As a specialist medical travel insurance provider, we understand that things aren't always black-and-white. That's why we have the option to provide you with travel insurance even if you're on a waiting list for a diagnosed condition.
Being on a waiting list does not affect the medical cover you receive whilst abroad, but it might affect whether we can offer you the full range of benefits available to you on our policies. We also might need to refer your medical situation to our underwriters, to ensure that we are able to provide you with an appropriate policy.
If you're on a waiting list, you will need to speak to our UK-based customer service team:

Undiagnosed or under investigation?
We cannot provide cover if you have a set of symptoms or potential condition which is undiagnosed. This would include investigations such as scans, tests, or procedures for a suspected diagnosis. The medical declaration you complete with us must match your official medical records, so if there is not a fixed diagnosis, you do not have a condition we can cover.
We do not have the ability to exclude any medical conditions (suspected or otherwise) from your medical declaration - therefore we would be unable to provide a quote or a policy.
However, we are not the only medical travel insurance provider on the market, and alternative providers might be able to exclude certain conditions or symptoms from cover. Explore the directories below for more information:
