The Worldwide region generally covers all available countries, some policies may split it into two regions Worldwide and Worldwide excluding USA/Canada/Caribbean this is because particular regions will often increase the cost of insurance particularly with regards to medical cover.
If you choose Worldwide you will have cover anywhere you go with the exception of countries that are on the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) no travel list. This list is of countries the government recommends no travel to and as such is considered a no-go list for most travel insurance companies. To find out the current travel advice on the country you wish to visit please check here. If you really aren't sure where you will go or are planning on going to the USA, Canada or the Caribbean then this may well be what you want but it does increase the cost of cover. If you don't plan on going to these countries you will probably find a cheaper policy by choosing the Worldwide excluding option or being more specific and choosing another appropriate region.
