Who counts as a UK resident?

The definition of a UK resident

Policies have varying definitions of UK resident but for generic purposes across our policies, a UK resident is defined as a person who has their main home in the United Kingdom, who is registered with a medical practitioner in the UK, and who has been resident in the UK for 6 months out of the last 12.

Our Insurers generally define the United Kingdom (UK) as inclusive of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. Though please double check the wording of your chosen policy to ensure you are covered.

If you are unsure whether you fall under the definition in the wording or here you can always contact us
